Title: Aimbots hacks are standard in AA server
Post by: se7ensnakes on May 26, 2014, 04:37:21 pm
There is perhaps 30 or 40 old players that consistently play in the AA server.  Of these there are quite a few that have aimbots and hacks.  They claim that you are no good and I have superior aim.  But meanwhile you see a mass driver kill two dretches with one shot.  You see other distortions.  Even Admin use them.  In the end you have some self-gratifying players that feel elevated by using hacks to win.

Now that's some classy hax right there: rather than them simply automating aiming / firing, you're telling me they changed the way the server registers hits with a hitscan weapon? Dayum!

As far as I'm concerned, I'm happy for you to continue to make baseless assertions on these forums of players cheating. In case it matters to you though, I'll point you toward the forum rules (http://tremulous.net/forum/index.php?topic=4305.0). You might have to blow some dust off of them first, but then you'll be able to read for yourself how such discussion is in fact explicitly prohibited.

An ethical hacker has several reasons to try gaining unauthorized control of a web server, though the primary reason is to test a server and its software for vulnerabilities liteblue (https://www.liteblue.one/).
