Alright, out of curiosity I was wondering if it's possible to run tremulous from a USB. I'd been messing around and figured out copying tremulous to a USB, already installed causes an error message. I haven't tried using the installer to directly install tremulous to my USB though, so I was wondering if anyone knows if this can work. I'm quite busy at the moment and won't be able to try it out for a while, so I'm just throwing the question out there... ???

Off the top of my head, I can only think of needing to set fs_homepath on the command line (or compile with a different default)

EDIT: I messed up. What I did wrong was kind of embarrassing, but that doesn't matter because the servers work, oops, my bad. I still haven't figured out how to get tremfusion running but that doesn't matter. I got Tremulous working on a USB drive! ;D The problem now is, I'm not used to the default tremulous, how do you install maps? When I join a server with maps other than the default, it says I can't load it. Obviously because I don't have it. Any ideas on how to get these maps?

The notoriously bad forum search still yielded Installing Maps (http://tremulous.net/forum/index.php?topic=14455.0). And if you don't know where to download maps, see my signature.
