How about next time posting something that's useful to the conversation for the thread.

Next version will be released next thursday.
-
Next version will become apparent when Last thursday's secret version will be destroyed before the last version will be thought about but only if Lava croft turns into a giant bunny at 2007's final full moon on a sunday.
:D

It comes as gimmick on the Duke Nukem Forever Retail CD.
-
Next version will be vista only and released when vista becomes bug free.
-
Meh. At least Tremulous is in pretty good shape right now.
True Combat Elite had some severe bugs and exploits and it went a goddamn year and a half before they updated.
-
Yes, but TC:E is not Tremulous.

Crap, well never get it then. :D

Releasing SVN829 as Tremulous 1.1.1 would be a good thing. We'd finally get rid of buggy servers and insecure clients. And whenever the next release is done, leave game.qvm OUTSIDE of PK3 archives. It'll make things much easier for server security/features updates.

indeed it is outside vms-1.1.0.pk3
if you compile svn and pack qvm files in vms-1.1.1.pk3
and use the compiled binary you nearly get the next version

no you can't, that would make clients download vms-1.1.1.pk3 and crash when they tried to load the qvms

Next version will be released next thursday.
19th October? That's my birthday :D.
But I expect you know little more than me about when the next version will be released.
