Often people who hang around the internet a lot like anime, though there are still plenty who think all anime is just japanese schoolgirls and giant robots.

So, the link is that this thread is about "a link between first-person shooters and the consumption of pornography", and there appears to be a link between using computers and the consumption of anime. Sort of related subjects.
