I would give this ranking:
Graphic: 9/10
Sound: 8/10
Atmo: 8/10
insert Coin: 9/10 (when you will play more after 5 hours)
gamesystem 9/10
Result: 9/10 points
Make yours .

You do know that no game can get the absolute best 10/10 score? If it did, it'd have to be perfect in every way possible, including 0 bugs, and Tremulous has bugs aplenty.

Omg your right who voted 10/10 points anyway? :-?

Firstly, there is no such thing as a perfect program: ALL programs have bugs and glitches. The more complex the program, the more bugs there will be. Something as large and complex as Trem will obviously have bugs, just like every other program. As long as those bugs don't interfere with the gameplay.
Secondly, a perfect 10/10 score is not impossible. But it is not very likely that many games will actually get it. A perfect 10/10 score in any area simply implies that the game is of an impressive stature in that area. A score is an opinion of the author of how good the game is, not how perfect it is.
I'm not trying to start a flame war, but implying that a score is a ranking of perfection is folly.[/i]

Nah i voted 9/10 points you can read my first post :P
But i can't think that someone will vote 0/10 points that's ****** oh ops there's no 0/10 :P
-
I'd say 9/10.
I don't really like the title screen music, and there are a few minor nitpicks.
Tremulous is mostly pretty awesome, though.

Shadow, you re new on this forum, and you already posted 3 stupid polls in 2 or 3 days.
Are you trying to set a record or what ?
-
a single player campaign could be really, really cool... the play style is perfect for it!!
-
10/10
but I think the gfx engine could be better :P

you can play against buildables :P

I can't vote, there's no 11/10 option. :D
-
8/10 because of bugs, and there is lots of improvement to do that would make the game more pleasant.

Same, I even considered the 7/10 but the game is still fun most of the time for me, despite all the little problems :D

If you ask me ,no.
I'm just a little postler in the forums that want to know what others think.
other forums they rly like my polls :P

I put 7 as i'd just like a bit more variety available when playing.

I give trem 10/10, for a 3rd party free source game it's pretty darn perfect. By far better than the company made ones that actually have a budget and teams of coders, graphic artists and what not on staff.
I give the community 5/10 cause we're all elitist pricks. :)

You like it that way xiane, come on.
-
I'd say an 8/10, probably. It's one of the better games I've played in the last couple of years, and is certainly the best free, online, multiplayer one.

I am hooked on tremulous, but, America's Army is a more well rounded and polished "free" multiplayer game.
-
I give Tremulous 12 out of 10 because of the quality and the players (of course, I give the community -1 out of 10 for the same reason Xiane mentioned). If there weren't the players, it wouldn't be as fun to play. Every game works like that. In 30 years, the Tremulous development may have long ago stopped and technologically it might be crap, but if it's got good players, it will still be a really good game. If everyone stopped playing Tremulous tomorrow, it wouldn't be very enjoyable.

America's Army is the same as every other deathmatch game. Boring. Standard. Lame.

yes that's true. I also really hate that when you die, you have to wait for the next round. It takes SO LONG TO WAIT! Especially AA where you can die really fast, so the player HAS to camp to survive! AAAAH!

Despite this, I have to give Tremulous 10/10. Not that I don't agree with the above, but I think it deserves it as the guys who did it made it 100% free and it's a fun game to play. Besides, i've never been a victim of any bugs or glitches... maybe it's only a matter of time...
Also, I've got mac and I have to thank tjw for putting together the Mac build. You don't get a lot of Mac games like this... especially for free!

69/10
Rare are the FPS that got me addicted, Tremulous did. So yeah, definitely 69/10.
-
Got to be 9/10.
Could have been 10/10 if there wouldn't be any bugs, though there aren't very much of them.
The major thing that raised the number is that trem is FREE
So great game without any cost.
Though graphics would be a bit better.
-
Well, due to the amount of griefers and idiots, I'd say probably about a 7/10 now.
-
Dude, PongPong, notice that the last post before yours was in October TWO THOUSAND AND SIX.

His post was in November TWO THOUSAND AND SIX.
It's Plague Bringer we all have to glare at.
Oh and while I'm here, a score of 10/10 merely means that the recipient is better than 90% of the opposition. All the really cool people, though, use a normally-distributed scale with mean 0 and standard deviation 1, on which scale I rate Tremulous 2.7.
