when i get to the first menu, and press play, my comp freezes... my comp is pretty new, so i don't think there's any compatability problems...

I'm using windows media center edition, it's a brand new PC from Dell with intel core 2 duo processor with an ATI graphics card

Do you have any firewalls? This happens when Tremulous can't get a connection outside your computer.

Win MCE is not ment to be used for games

In other words, go to ATI's website and download drivers that actually take advantage of your hardware's OpenGL support.

A PC is a type of computer. Probably, it is best to use the term for its meaning, a description of the use (or intended use) of the computer. Then the question arises of what is meant by "computer", the software or the hardware?
