I know that Tremulous is for free. I seed to improve the download for others.
They are all just joking with you, you did the community a favor, despite the noob and greifer influx.
There is option to use direct-downloaded Tremulous installer to seed it. You download, and open .torrent file, and choose download location where is installer already. If not work- then stop download, and (in µtorrent) right click and "recheck".

Hehe, put tjw's backport there :P
I would be nice if Tremulous site webmaster will put metalink for installer.
I'll start seeding too, at a low rate. You can try to ask Timbo (http://tremulous.net/phpBB2/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=1) about putting it on the website.

Someone wanna make a torrent of the Linux version?

bad idea... encourage people to just download it through their package manager (apt, pacman, rpm, etc).
@Thor:
shutting the fun up :P
Why? Torrents are far superior in bandwidth terms, and packaging id Software games a bad idea. Just look at the Debian Unstable Tremulous package; it totally rapes the file structure, shooting everything into different directories, making it impossible to manage. The Loki installer is perfectly fine, and runs on all flavors of Linux.
If there is enough interest, the amount of peers will probably grow. Although I can't be sure, because it's not on the site as an alternative download option. For example another game site advises it's users to use bittorrent for downloading their game, but they provide also other sites for a traditional download(ftp and mirrors) if their users can't make bittorrent to work for them.

Agreed. It's probably better to keep tremulous out of the package manager wars for now.
However BitTorrent downloads of the current files available from the main website might help with server bandwidth?
