Get the fixed version here (http://files.filefront.com/map_atcszalphab1_fixedpk3/;6154149;;/fileinfo.html)
this fixes the conflict with the preview map
the map name is now atcszalphab1 instead of atcszalpha

Thank you!
Now all we need are standardized naming convention for the different versions of the map.
Having the right map but the wrong name makes bad things happen on Impure servers.

i just got sick of telling noobs on sst how to fix the map problem

That's not a noob problem. It isn't unreasonable to think that a map by a certain name is that map. Add to that the difficulty of where to get the "proper" new map and you have a recipe for confusion. Not to mention that someone who relies on autodownload is gonna have a hell of a time figuring out why the map they download from <name> server suddenly doesn't work right at all on that same server.
Telling people in game to download the proper map is a piss poor way to do it (mind you, I do it too ;) ) or to inform players of anything of import, mind you. This is especially true on SST where the amount of text scrolling by can be great.
I would love it if maps had a standard where, like on pulse, the beginning spectator spot had a scrolling message that was configurable globally by the server operator (which pulse isn't I know, but... I can dream :D )

We don't really need a standardized naming convention as we need server admins to know that they should never replace a pk3 with another one with the exact same name. And mappers that know they shouldn't release two versions of a map with the same filename.

the game needs a system that wont allow server or client startup if 2 map files have the same bsp name
-
As in telling people which versions are which, in case they accidentally got them switched.

Avenger fixed this a long time ago, and i emailed megabite a copy. The version is called atcszalphab1
