I included a target_speaker emitting a sound in my map - that is no problem so far
BUT: is there a way to limit the emitted sound to a self defined area? And if yes - how? The only thing i can do by now is to make the sound very quiet. Any ideas?
If interested, i made some screenshots ....

If the target_speaker is in another VISblock than the player, he will not hear it. As far as I know, that is the only way to limit the propagation of sound through a map.

Ok. Thanks.

This also means that, if you compile your map with a -fast in the vis stage, you will hear the sounds from very far away. If I remember correctly, this is the case with the default radiant build settings for fast compile.

i will try your hint by removing "-fast" from the build options.
Btw - i looked the screenshots of your map (http://users.telenet.be/ingar/tremulous/): looks great :D
