Title: a lol idea
Post by: kaziorvb on November 20, 2006, 04:15:10 pm
hiya

i find many of ppl playing trem enjoy paintin on walls. but unfortunately the painting disappears quickly. so i wondered - why not to make a mod that totally slows down the disappearing rate (or even turning it off).
the bad side would be fps killin if the walls would be full'o'bullets etc.
but look, if the bullets would stay in the walls it would make the game more realistic.

btw, i would like to try to make a mod - how should i start? what do i have to can - to make mods for trem?

Why don't they just go to a park with spray paint or paint ball guns?

I value my framerate more than a bunch of random decals all over everything.

Good idea. This will also eliminate the whining eveyone must've heard:
"Lag!" "Lagg!!!!" "aw, lagkill!" "Argh! my ping!" "Ponies!" "Lagzorinoz!"
"Why, lag, WHY?!" "oooh, lag!" "ouch that ping hurts" "Lagspike!" "lag!"

Its a cvar, anyway, so you can modify it on the client side and not have to worry about people who don't want it.

You know, Goldeneye and Perfect Dark both had paintball modes where all bullet holes, scorch marks, and blood was replaced by horrible rainbow hued spatters of paint.
