Copies of Tremulous may be obtained here (http://www.tardis.ed.ac.uk/~tma/tremulous-beta/). Games are arranged in our IRC channel, which is #tremulous irc.quakenet.org or on the tremulous-games mailing list (http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/tremulous-games).

The server is server.tremulous.net:27960.

Now that that anybody can download it, I guess you guys don't mind if me and my friend try some Tremulous at this LAN-party I'm going on at the end of next week??

Nope. There was never really any restriction before. The password was really just a cynical move to entice people on to IRC  :roll:

Planning on mirroring the download anytime? Current file host is slower than mollases, and on top of that I've had to restart the download several times.

Not in the short term no. The current download site is used for prerelease files which change quite frequently. We can't really use the (mirrored) SF mechanism for these.

As far as the site speed goes, I believe the hosting for it (my old University) is currently having problems, it's normally very quick. I suspect when the department reopens (in a couple of days) it'll speed up.

Managed to snag it, I think the problem was as much on my end as yours.

 Is the server only up on fridays?

it was for awhile, but now people aren't joining and I have no idea what time and day.
