hi, I keep meaning to mention this on IRC, but I always forget.
(though I think I've already mentioned some of it).

I'd like the Inventory to be done away with :)

Bold I know, but hear the reasoning out.

there are several items which appear in the inventory which dont do anything, and the ones that do do things are awkward to select in the heat of battle.

Here's a solution:
Weapons: change between the primary and secondary weapons with the bind weapdown (or up).

Jetpack: have a specific bind for activating.

Antitoxin: make this autoactivate after being hit with poison.
(in all honesty I doubt many people bother with antitoxin, because when you're in the middle of a frantic fight... if you notice you've been poisoned, you rarely have the time to sift through the inventory and activate the antitoxin).  If it autoactivated on the first hit, then was gone, I think people would be more inclined to buy it.

I hope those suggestions make sense, I think if would make a significant increase to the userfriendliness of Trem, with minimal gameplay restrictions.

You can do the first two with some simple bind writing... Im concerned that people don't like having 50 binds to do every single thing possible.  But with some nice binds, others who do want to, can.

I was thinking that too.  Thats why I wanted to swap: Inventory forward, Inventory backwards, and Inventory Use
for just: Change weapon, and Jetpack

3 for 2, saves on binds :)


further, to make the change even easier... why not make:
Inventory use = use jetpack, and
Inventory forward/backward = change weapon
