Humans should be able to stomp on dretches.
Seriously, if you're going to make a little alien that's barely the size of my foot, I should be able to stomp on it if it's stupid enough to attack me from the front and be on the floor. It should be an instantkill if the dretch stays in that spot for any more than a second.
Additionally, what moron decided a dretch can land a headshot while on the floor?

Dretches are partially invisible and have really long tongues. The aliens are immune to it (if not annoyed by it), but licking humans hurts them. It's not the dretches' fault; they just like licking everything...

I dont know about a normal human, but i think a B-Suit humans should be able to step on a dretch. Also, dretches should fit UNDER tyrants legs. they definitely fit by the looks of it.

Well trem isn't really ment to be a realistic game (humans keep dancing after the first chomp hit's them in the head and tyrants flee after taking a charged luci blast).
If you did put in a trample thing for battlesuits you would have to make a more effective one for tyrants as well and that would imo make it even more annoying games after they've started.

This topic is rather silly, but it does raise a serious point:
falling. If a tyrant falls a dozen stories and lands on a dretch, the dretch should be crushed.
So basically, the way to do it would be to replace/generalize the current gravity/human splat stuff with damage for collisions that can be applied to everyone (preferably based on momentum -- or an approximation of it based on speed, direction, and size). Then tyrant charge and dragoon pounce could become just special moves. They would still do damage, but in a more general way.

I think tyrants should be able to fly and wallwalk, and charge should be replaced with goon like pounce.
Oh and they should also have moustache.

Please do not throw this idea away! This would make for a lot more innoative way of fighting as any alien bigger than a marauder!

Yes, but they cant KNOCK the human down. Take Lord of the Rings, Return of the King for example. Enemies can knock you down, and vice versa. You take a few seconds to get back up, and this is when the death attack can come.

Goon pounce has a major knockback modifier... but goon pounce doesn't have any knocback... and even if it did, the knockback can't go beyond a certain amount (which is less than the mod*pounce).

the limit isn't a big deal, tjw recently put the knockback back in on his server, it was HUGE, he ended up changing it to 1.5, it's still huge, but it's actually a lot of fun.

I have goon pounce knockback (and I added a hefty modifier for charge) and removed the 200 knockback max on my server. But for some reason, pounces tend to do almost (but not quite) the full 100 damage. So it is pretty fun when you pounce someone, they go flying across the room, and die from gravity. People who just want high kill counts, probably wouldn't.

Weaker, so you'll just get pushed just out of chomp range.
Also, this would probably cut down on the instant-pounce-chomp use.

400 mili-seconds is still pretty close.
In that 400 ms, you should get knocked a little out of the way.
Besides, pouncing battlesuits off ledges would be quite fun.
