Title: !!Anyone know how to get admin rights on m own server???

IS ther anybody who knows how to thuroughly set up admin rights on my new server

i have been spending on a avg. of about 3 to 5 hours a day for the last past week trying to find out how to set up admin rights for myself on my new server.

everytime i put !setlevel it says unknown command

Hehe yeh sorry man i dont know why the second one cam up I tried to take it down. Iis ther a way to?

But yeh if you couls help me that would be great. I have tried everything, put in all kind of commands. downloaded all kinds of guids i could find. I found out how to set the /rcon password but I still get uknown commands when I try to use admin options.

well...im guessing that means you read tjw's guide on his site...i know a better guide that my friend made...he posted it on DoA forums...problem is im deleted from DoA forums so i cant get it to you...hopefully one of them will read this and link you to it

i have read the readme files at trem.tjw.org/backport
but im not quite sure to do with it

ok i go on the guide and it says "Getting started is pretty easy.  Just set g_admin to the name of the
configuration file you want to use (e.g. "admin.dat") and connect to
the server using the tremulous executable I've provided here"
can someone tell me what do do like what do i do to make the admin .dat fil and where to put it and also how to make an rcon password?
