Heya all.

Just wondering what U use mostly.(Hope this thread is not too useless)
Now I use actually all weapons and gadgets, I just love the whole arsenal!
But mostly i use the shotgun.

Ckit isn't a weapon, more of a utility :D

My weapon does vary depending on who i'm playing against.

Mostly i'll use a shotgun though. But against newbies i'll use an MD just for the 'omg haxx' cries as you hit their dretches from a distance with the hidden zoom :D

I would have said pulse rifle but when I play on tjw's server, all the aliens are wimpy pansies. Nothing was is needed.

According to the stats on the server I play most often, it is in that order :
- Luci
- Rifle ( rifle rulez :D )
- Shotgun
- Pulse

Blaster, since it''s the only gun I'm allowed to carry besides a Construction Kit.

I have no idea which weapon I use mostly, I guess the chaingun...

In S1, it depends.
no money -> Rifle
money and evil :dragoon:s out there and few people chasing them -> Shotgun
money and mostly non-:dragoon:s -> lasgun

in S2, I usually stick with lasgun or replace the shotgun with a pulserifle or the chaingun if tyrants are attacking.

at S3, I usually only vary between chaingun and pulse rifle together with a bsuit, first to defend, second to kill alienbases ;)

So I guess it is chaingun for me.

As soon as s2 hits I'm grabbing a flamer. Usually I'll go luci at s3. Pulse and las if I can't afford a luci though.

I don't use Shotgun when I am having a bad day, like, when I keep dying and when I keep missing... :(

It depends on what would be best for the situation.

I spend some time with the C-Kit, Shotgun, and Lasgun, although occasionally I pick up a Mass Driver.

Nade + weapon.

Once s2 comes around, you won't catch me without a nade. I'll be watching, waiting, ready to rape your base. :wink:

and as for the weapons i use
in each game i find myself using the same weapon pattern:
rifle until i get credits for las
las until aliens get credits for maras and goons-which is when i use shotty
shotty until s2-pulse
pulse until s3-luci
then i pull out chain when tyrants come around

I use the Flamer and the Chaingun, but I use the Chaingun more cos it's more avaliable and easier to use.

Use most:
At S1: Shotgun, Lasergun.
At S2: Pulse, Lasergun.
At S3: Pulse, Luci.

Use some:
PainSaw.

Use Never:
Chaingun. FlameThrower. Massdriver.

As for BS or Helmet, I use Helmet all the time excepting when defending a tyrant rush (lots of them, y'know), which I temporary switch to BS+pulse or shotgun. Helmet + Luci (+ofc battery), on the other side, is the best for destroying alien base. Helmet + Pulse (+ofc battery) when you have to fight big aliens in your way.

EDIT: I never use chaingun cause of the weird kickangles. It's hard to time to dodge alien charges with them, and I need to be able to dodge. But don't get me wrong, I'm not claiming for the kickangles to be removed. I think it's a fair deal.

S1: Nothing. Its not worth it. Due to me not being able to get a helmet, a dretch always ends up biting my cranium.

S2: Helm + Armour + Shotgun/Lasgun

S3: Bsuit + Painsaw/Shotgun/Lagun

Overall favourite: Shotgun

I just wish the devs made it sound more 'boomy'.

s1 - rifle or arm+shotgun, sometimes arm+las+batt
s2 - arm+helm+shotgun, arm+helm+batt+las/md/pulse
s3 - arm+helm+pulse/luci/md(md for tyrs <3), bs+chain

especially for rushin psaw/luci (ofc includin luci jump ^^) + nade + arm+helm+batt/bs

Well, in S1 I use a las gun. In S2, I usually use a pulse rifle but I sometimes change to flame thrower. 8) In S3, I always use a Luci and a battlesuit. :eek: :P

s2: Pulse rifle(my favorite)
