Hello everybody!!
Second time visiting this forum/site, first time posting.
I wonder, how do you open the console on the Linux version? Somebody told me that you open it with the button to the left of number 1, that is, the button with the ยง and 1/2 on it. But when i press that button nothing happens.

The ~ key.

Thanks, i'll try that next time i'm playing.

According to this the key is supposed to be the one in red near "Enter". You'll probably have to use a weird key combination to access it :)

If that doesn't work then
Edit tremulous/base/autogen.cfg
Add:
bind x "toggleconsole"
where x is the key of your choice.
-
It will be the one one the top left the 1/2 key. Whichever key has the ~ symbol on your keyboard is largely irrelevant.

Not if the system keymap corresponds to key symbols. For example, cz_lat2 keymap has ~ as AltGr+A and semicolon instead of ~. I hope somebody will make a better key system for ioq3. One that works similarly to Doom3 where the key symbol doesn't matter as long as it's the same key.

Can't remember the specifics but they use the numeric identifier(keyboard is basically a grid with customisable stickers) for the key rather than what your OS tells you the key is
