My binds are not being saved from period of tremulous runnings (ie shut down trem and when i start up again they're not there)
I think the problem is that when I make the binds they dont show up in my autoexc.cfg or my autogen.cfg. please help me!

Write them directly to the file, its alot easier.
Also if you are on *nix system, make sure you got writing permission to that file (Very uncommon that you dont but some ppl just love to tune)

 Its not a lot easier for me... :P
I'm not on *nix and why is it bleeped?

I assume you mean why the *, its means Unix, Linux and all like systems.

I know what it means I wondered why...I mean I love teh unix! I'm on a mac which counts i guess....
-
Yeah MAC is sort of *nix too.
Unfortunanely i have never actually even touched a MAC so got no idea what to do with it :( .
You should just find the file, check it's permissions and edit it.

Mac's unix, yes. If indeed you don't have permissions to write the file, there are two ways of setting them, the get info window, and the terminal command. The file is probably at /Users/you/Library/Applicaiton Support/Tremulous/base/autogen.cfg, you can get info on it there
In terminal, the command is chmod a+rwx ~/Library/Applicaiton Support/Tremulous/base/autogen.cfg
this will give everyone read, write, and execute permissions for that file.
As other people have said, though, you're probably better off opening the file in TextEdit and fiddling around with it manually.

Thanks, I did that in r00t user and it works like a charm :) ty

I'm also on a mac,
i don't have any bind problems (works fine),
but i have some problems with coloring names, words, etc...
So, can someone help me with that?(i spend hours on trying: pasting,...)
Help would be great.
(i don't want to make a new topic for that...)

All you have to do is ^ then a number for example: ^1 Is red.
-
Of course i know that...
But i can't type it INgame ---> ^
so...any ideas?
I can try binding it in that way (up^^)...
