I followed the guide to set up gtkradiant with Tremulous, everything works when i start it up but there aren't any textures. When you set up according to the guide is it supposed to allow you to use the textures in default maps or will I have to get some of my own textures?
-
You can load a textureset by clicking Textures in the topmenu and selecting one of the maps at the bottom. This will load all textures used in that map.
-
It doesn't show any maps.
-
Did you set the files mentioned on the mapping wiki to the right paths?
-
I just went through it again, and yes everything is where the wiki says it should be.
Does it matter that my gtkradiant is set up for a lot of games even though in the wiki it says to do a custom install and only have tremulous?
-
You should have selected tremulous as the game for which you are editing. Everything should be fine then. Could you make a printscreen of the texture menu?
-
I do select tremulous when I start up.

ur missing commands from the menu since it auto hides some sometimes select the show all to view them all... maybe that was the prob

Didn't do anything :(
-
well i tried.... id quadruple check to make sure directory is set to whatever its suppose to be else theres an issue there. u should have more options with mapnames and arrows to extend on some of them with diff catagories
-
I'm going to install a different version of gtkradiant. Thanks for helping though.

I reinstalled both gtkradiant and Tremulous (making sure to clean up all settings files before reinstalling) and then followed this guide http://tremmapping.pbwiki.com/GtkRadiant1_5-Win32 still no textures come up (when I press 't' a window comes up that is empty both 'Show All' under 'Veiw' and 'Flush & Reload Shaders' under 'Tools' do absolutely nothing). Is there something else you have to do before textures come up?
BTW gtkradiant is C:\Program Files\GtkRadiant 1.5.0 and tremulous is C:\Program Files\Tremulous
[EDIT]
I figured out the problem, the engine was set to c:Program Files\... instead of c:\Program Files\...; I really hate window's directory scheme, but I can't get X working properly in freebsd right now :(
Thanks all who helped me.
