Title: Karith station

once playin on that map someone managed to build a base in the water and outside area bit. anyone know how u can do that? cos thhe only way seems to be from the bridge, but theres no gaps to wallwalk through

I've seen this done before too, on Dretch*Storm people are always glitch building. I've never seen anyone leave the confines of the bridge, but I have seen them build eggs outside of it and then die, respawn outside the main map as granger, build OM out there, and then decon the egg and '/kill' themselves. I'd like to see a fix for this.

Often there's no admin on some servers, and on Dretch*Storm if one person does it then they will all follow, you'd end up banning everyone for glitch building.
I was thinking of a .ent patch or a new map release.

You need zero tolerance, or people will walk all over you. If your lucky.

It's only abuse if it's repeated.  Every new player should be able to see a mara in a bsuit, eggs inside crates in Tremor, exploding hovels in Karith, etc.  It's part of the charm of the game.   I spawned inside the cage on Transit recently and thought it was cool to taunt the pulses outside.  It wouldn't have been fun twice, but nobody repeated that glitch.  I've never seen stacked buildables (and would like to).   Next time I'm on Karith, I'll try doing an egg outside the bridge.  But only once.

I've seen humans build underneath the sewer on Tremor before; that's got to be one of the most amusing things I've ever seen.

I also today saw a S1 Human build on the little platform by the ladder in the large outside area on Karith. It failed miserably, but it was still pretty funny.
