Hmm, one person voted yes.  Wonder who that could be...

That PM includes a threat to kill, sounds like an IP ban is needed, and maybe reported.  Moderators?  I know that the intarnet can get rough and tumble, I've even taken part.  However, I feel a line does need to exists.  A threat to kick ass or even kill in a public forum implies smack talk.  A threat to kill in a PM on the other hand, that can be nothing other than a threat.  A serious one no less.  Someone has the access to verify the PM as well as looking at the IPs posted from (to prove that David is not trolling, and to prove the identity of the individual making the threats.)

It is entirely possible that burnys is a 12 year old moron, or a 25 year old moron.  However, I don't feel that such threats should be tolerated.

I agree with tuple.
The PM needs to be verified. If no legal actions are taken, at least a ban is required here.

We don't need threats to Tremulous community members. I'm sure that David did nothing to deserve that considering that I've known him for so long as a team-mate.

Please avoid making serious death threats, that just isn't cool.
