Title: Problem with loading custom textures in gtk
Post by: [tycho] on February 15, 2007, 01:38:45 am
first off...I am using a mac. that might be bad, but it's all ive got.

mk, so I can load all the default textues....acts, aracnid 2, uncreation, blah blah blah.

but when I want my OWN textures, in the folder Tremulous/base/textures/

nothing shows up. What gives?

You should have a folder in tremulous/base/textures/MAPNAME or something, then make sure that shaderlist.txt only is not checked in the textures drop down menu, then click flush and reload shaders, and the MAPNAME folder should appear and it should load the textures.

Also make sure all the textures are sized in powers of 2, common sizes include( apply for both height and width, can be used in any combination)

How would you go about putting textures in the trem/base/textures folder?  Do you put in the entire map file?

trem/base/map name - texture needed

if your using textures from stock maps (maps come with install ) then you dont need to, but if its from a player made map then its just easest to put the whole folder in. but the best way is to find out wat texturs u have used and only move them ones.
