Title: Double Turrets
Post by: -:GoDz:-Devil on February 16, 2007, 03:00:16 am
I was messing around in [Pro]Fessionals server, and I found a way to destroy the 2 front turrets on map Tremor.
I dont know if anyone knew this or not, so I just brought it to your attention.
Here is a demo.

XD

Put it in tremulous/base/demos

Open tremulous, pull down the console.

Type: Demo (demoname, excluding the .dm69)

Ah, ok thanks.

And that doesn't seem like too unusual of a way to destroy the turrets, really. If you had done that in less lives, maybe, but in a real game that really wouldn't have gotten you too far, would it have?

All in all, I feel kind of embarrassed for you for putting this out.  That it took you four deaths to kill two turrets without any resistance but the turrets is pretty un-spectacular.  Add that to the fact that, with even a skeleton crew of competent humans, you wouldn't have gotten three feet into the human base without dying, your demo, frankly, kind of sucks.  Hate to break it to you.

Oh well I see I forgot to mention that I was messing around, and I did do it all in 1 life, thats how I figured this out and started recording, but I be damned it did not work again.

I will be sure when I try to record every time.
And I don't mind the embarrassment, we all make mistakes, and if you practice the mistake you made over and over you will get better.
