Title: Madcatz Panther XL controller for tremulous under Linux
Post by: PK1 on February 16, 2007, 07:26:08 am
I'm a new Linux user and Tremulous is the first game I'm trying that runs natively in Linux. I have a Madcatz Panther XL that I really like for FPS. I'd like to use it with Tremulous. To do this I would need to create a config file for the bindings. However, I've never made one but have edited a few for some ID games and for Half-Life so I have a vague idea of what is required. Is it possible to do this in Tremulous? Or, hopefully, maybe someone else has made one.

Any help is most appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I'll looking the packages you suggested. I think I already have jscalibrator. I've bookmarked the link you provided.

I don't know if you are familiar with the PXL. It has a joystick for movement and a trackball for looking, along with 17 switches. The nice thing is you never need to hunt for a key on the keyboard.
