Title: how do I take a screenshot?
Post by: player1 on February 18, 2007, 07:21:20 am
I can't find it in the manual or FAQ. I'd swear I've seen it before. It's been awhile since I played Q3a and I can't remember the keybinds. I didn't see it in the ingame options menu. I know it can't be that hard. Do I need to bind a key to take a screenshot? Sorry, I'm sure it's in one of the many wikis. I just can't find it.

Although it is discussed at http://tremulous.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=802, you have to know the answer (search for screenshot and f11) in order to find it.  Searching for screenshot by itself returns too much (120 entries) to be useful.

I discovered screenshots while playing around with binds - the default autogen.cfg includes "bind f11 screenshotJPEG".   Examining config files is always a good way to discover things.

And if you wish to find those screenshots go to your "base" folder and the "screenshot" folder to get them.

Dudes,
thx.
F11, look in the base file; keybinds are all in config
got it

By the way speaking of binds, what's a better key for medkit than "M"?
