Post by: Smokey on February 23, 2007, 04:03:04 pm: As many of you have heard, someone has been going around as God+Zilla on servers deconning. I went into [OPP] Server last night, and he just happened to show up right after I did.

After listening to his spamming of "I R ZIRRA" and such, Two people gave me his IP.

and I would say "Zilla" not "Zirra" :/
and I bet some of people in Asia would say "Zilla." At least in Korea... not sure about Japanese though, I am learing it right now and there's no LA, only RA.

So does that make God+Zilla Asian?

His IP was banned on DretchStorm (He deconned and tried to vote-kick Janook out) but if he uses proxies or has a dynamic one, I bet he'll be back. Instead of trying to figure out who he is, might as well just ban his IP from most servers.

The reason it's like that is because in Japanese (and possibly some other Asian languages; I don't know), the "r" sound isn't like an English "r," but is a blend of the English "r" and "l" sounds. There is no "l" sound in Japanese, which is why some native Japanese speakers misprounouce (to our ears) words with "l."
