No people playing Tremulous makes OverFlow a sad bobbin.
Although there was a 5 player game today. If you want to get in on the action its good to idle on the IRC channel (#tremulous on irc.quakenet.org) Most the people there want to play, and are just waiting for enough people online to make some games happen. ;)

(Forgive me if I ramble a little, I just woke up)
I've been rather sick (I'm getting better!) over the past two weeks and thusly I haven't been able to play at all, sorry. :P
That said I've noticed a rather steady drop in the player count starting from about two weeks after the first release. The player count for most mods tends to surge in the first week after release as people try out the mod and inevitably some or most go back to something else. The thing is is instead of leveling off, the number of Tremulous players is continuing to drop lower and lower.. I'm just stating the obvious, though.
Hopefully when the standalone version is released we'll get even more people to play and *stay*, but until then it's going to be kind of depressing. :-?

Well, this week has been definately a lot better, up to 5v5 games yesterday. Just ask in IRC and they will come :D
-
I'm not too worried. I think the drop off in players can be easily attributed to the imbalances of the early versions (I for one stopped playing 1.0.1 after everyone caught on) and since I expect both the standalone release to generate considerably more interest than we've seen so far and for the balance issues to be more or less solved by then, I remain optimistic.

hmm well...this is blue by the way :o meant to make name blue not brok3n...o well.

ok this is better
-
and this is just because i need to be a little l33t :P
-
not only that, but in the Fall/early winter, mod activity is usually dead due to school

My university's crappy residence internet connection is stopping me from playing... :(
I could get wicked LAN games going, but I don't feel like making everyone pirate Q3, install the patch, then install Trem, etc...
I hope standalone comes out soon!!!
(Seriously though, when the standalone version comes out, there'll be A LOT of "stayers" from the Linux community... A lot of people that play TC:E right now are Linux people, because there aren't any really good FPSish games...)
Trem rocks. :)

Ah, i knew i recognized your nick from somewhere gamegod :P

I would play again, but that means i'll have to download 1.0.2 now. And my hd is full as it is. When it goes standalone though i will be back to get blasted, pounced and slashed to pieces for your pleasure.
