This idea worked really well as a map for warcraft 3. Basically, you use the game engine and AI to make a series of minigames, wherein points are scored and the player with the most points wins. As reward for winning, the player gets to CHOOSE a few minigames, whereas the rest are random. The minigames are usually completely unrelated to the game, but utilize more or less the same control scheme. For example...
A game where the players are all humans, trapped in a pit. Above them, are advanced goons which fire very slow projectiles. At first theres only one goon, and then two, and then three, until pretty soon the humans are trying to dodge tons of bullets. The last one standing wins. Then the next one starts up.
What do you think? Not too horrible? You won't flame me to the point where i'm just socks full of ashes?

Here is the list of Extreme Granger Games©:
COMBAT GAMES
- Combat Arena- Grangers gather around in a confined area, and try to kill each other. Spitting, clawing, wall climbing, whatever. Just don't leave the Arena. Once you have perished, you are out of the game. Either type of Granger is permitted.
- Team Combat Arena- This plays just like Combat Arena, but with one twist: There are teams that must fight together. Each team is designated by it's player's names being completely one color. Red team vs Blue Team, for Example. Either type of Granger is permitted.
- Aerial combat- You've played Combat Arena, but this is a whole new style of game, as gravity is set to 50, movement speed is 100 more than normal, and knock back is doubled! Either type of Granger is permitted.
- Team Aerial Combat- Color coded teams in an Aerial Combat Battle!
- Granger Zombies- There are two teams, one of Humans with blasters and rifles, and another, equal team, consisting of Adv. Grangers. Both teams must decon their base defenses, and armory or booster. The two teams then battle all around. Whenever a Granger dies, it merely respawns. Whenever a Human dies by the hands of a Granger, they must spawn as a Granger. Other wise, a human may respawn. No one is permitted to build. The Alien and Human base are not allowed to be struck. Either type of Granger is permitted.
- All Character Battle- All players get enough credits/evo points to become any/use any evolved form/upgraded weapon. Dretch are not allowed. Wall-climbing, however, is. Jetpacks are allowed and NO RESPAWNS. When all players are ready, they gather in the designated arena, and may not leave. At the start signal, all players engage in a vicious Free For All. This is NOT humans versus Aliens. Every one fights everything. Last man standing wins. Humans are allowed to reload. With the Balance Mod, one can become a Bile Dretch, and spawn a total of 9 times.
- Team All Character Battle- All players get enough credits/evo points to become any/use any evolved form/upgraded weapon. Dretch are not allowed. Wall-climbing, however, is. Jetpacks are allowed and NO RESPAWNS. When all players are ready, they gather in the designated arena, pair up, and may not leave. At the start signal, all players engage in a vicious Fight between Pairs. Last team standing wins. Humans are allowed to reload. With the Balance Mod, one can become a Bile Dretch, and spawn a total of 9 times.
SOVEREIGHNSHIP GAMES: A Sovereignship game is one which has a goal revolving around ownership or perseverance of something, held or attained by use of violence. All beings in a Sovereignship game are active competitors.
- Base Assault- There are color coded teams of Grangers, each with a set home base. Team 1 has an OM, whilst Team 2 has a Reactor. Both teams must strive to destroy the enemie's base, with infinite respawns. Rebuilding is not allowed. Spitting is not allowed. Either type of Granger is permitted.
- King of the hill- Teams of Grangers battle (with infinite Respawns) over a designated room. Wall climbing is not allowed. Whichever team has the most members COMPLETELY (NO EXCEPTIONS) inside the designated room at the end of the time limit, wins. With the Balance Mod enabled, each team may have one Bile Dretch which can spawn 3 times in total. Either type of Granger is permitted.
- Dretch Rugby- Teams of Grangers each have a designated part of the same room, with a Dretch in the middle. Both teams start packed around the Dretch, and score by pushing it to their end of the room, using either sheer force, claws, or spitting. If it is shoved to the end of the room opposite the starting point of a team, that team wins the round. Wallclimbing is not allowed, but you have infinite respawns. Combat is allowed. Either type of Granger is permitted.
SURVIVAL GAMES: A Survival game is one which has a goal revolving around lasting in the face of adversity.
- Spam Gauntlet- All grangers gather in neat rows in back of the starting line. No granger may start on top of another granger. At the far end of a long hall, some Battlesuits with Lucifer cannons wait in a row, with a granger's-space between them.. At the starting signal, the grangers must rush towards the BS under an onslaught of un-aimed fast-luci. Wall climbing is not allowed. Whichever granger gets the farthest wins, or whichever granger passes the Battlesuits first. If a granger's body is hurled, their position in the race is decided by wherever they landed. If they are hurled past the B-Suits, they count as coming in behind whatever living Grangers pass the B-suits. If no grangers survive until the end, the farthest granger is the winner, whether past the B-suits or not. Advanced Grangers only.
- When Jettards Attack- All grangers gather in a confined space. A Jettard then pops on in, holding either a Lucy, Pulse, or MD (NOTHING ELSE, YOU GOOBS) and kills all but one granger. The last granger standing wins. No respawns or wall-climbing. Grangers are not permitted to fight or hurt their assailant. Either type of Granger is permitted.
- Auderchow- All grangers gather in Styx's Auder Chow level. A Marauder or Adv. Marauder then pops on in, and kills all but one granger. The last granger standing wins. No respawns. Wall climbing is allowed. Grangers are not permitted to fight or hurt their assailant. Either type of Granger is permitted.
- Tyrant Rampage- All grangers spread about ATCS. A Tyrant then pops on in, and kills all but one granger. The last granger standing wins. No respawns or accessing areas where a Tyrant cannot follow. Grangers are not permitted to fight or hurt their assailant. Basic Grangers only.
- Granger Fugitive- All grangers begin in the level with two Adv. Dragoons. The goons face a corner and count to 10. All grangers run or hide in this time. At 10, the Goons begin to hunt and kill all but one Granger. You are permitted to move after having initially hid, and can run from the goons. Last Granger Standing wins. With the Balance Mod, the Goons will be able to see you on the radar! Advanced Grangers only.
- Lickin From The 'Lisks- All grangers spread about the level. A squad of Basilisks then begins hunting, until all but one granger is dead. The last granger standing wins. No respawns or wall-climbing. Grangers are encouraged to coordinate and battle the Basi's. The Basi's may respawn. Either type of Granger is permitted.
- Fish in a Barrel- All grangers gather in the Niveus Window Room. A Battlesuit with a Chaingun then pops on in, and kills all but one granger. The last granger standing wins. No respawns or wall-climbing. Grangers are not permitted to fight or hurt their assailant. Either type of Granger is permitted.
- Granger Zombies: A World Retaken- A squad of Grangers is in the Niveus Window Room. They must set up a base of 2 Acid Tubes, a Booster, and an OM. The humans can only use blasters. The grangers must defend themselves, and their OM, against an onslaught of Respawning Humans with blasters. The Grangers must survive as long as possible, and when a Granger is slain by a human, they may not respawn. The last remaining Granger is the victor. Either type of Granger is permitted.
- Granger Zombies: The Last Stand- A squad of humans stands on top of ATCS. They must set up a base of 2 Turrets, a medistation, and a Reactor. The humans can only use rifles and blasters, and have no chance to reload (no armory). The humans must defend themselves, and their Reactor. The Humans must survive as long as possible, and when a human is slain by the Grangers, they must spawn as a granger. The last remaining human is the victor. Either type of Granger is permitted.Russian Roulette- All grangers gather in a wide circle. One Tyrant starts standing near one granger. That granger then name a number from 1-10. The The Tyrant then goes either forwards or backwards that many grangers, the choice being his. The granger he arrives at dies. That granger then chooses a number, and so on. Last granger standing wins.
RACING GAMES: A Racing game is one in which the goal is to get from point A to point B before anyone else, with violence a minor if at all included part of achieving that goal.
- Combat Racing- All grangers gather in neat rows in back of the starting line. No granger may start on top of another granger. One of the Leaders becomes the Pace-granger, and leads all of the racers through one lap of the track. Once back at the starting line, grangers reassemble in rows, and Race at the starting signal. Wall climbing is disallowed, and stair rails may not be jumped. If you jump a stair rail, you must return to where you were before leaping, and continue the race. All combat is allowed. Who ever finishes the required laps first wins. Advanced Grangers only.
- Relay Racing- All granger teams gather in seperate rows in back of the starting line. No granger may start on top of another granger. One of the Leaders becomes the Pace-granger, and leads all of the racers through one lap of the track. Once back at the starting line, grangers reassemble in teams, and the first in line for each team may race at the starting signal. The other grangers must wait on the roof above the starting line. When the first granger finishes a lap, the next in line races that lap, while the first racer gets on the roof, and so on, until all team mates have raced the specified number of laps. Wall climbing is allowed only to hang above the finish line in order to not block racers that come before you, and stair rails may not be jumped. If you jump a stair rail, you must return to where you were before leaping, and continue the race. Which ever team finishes the required laps first wins. Advanced Grangers only.
- Red Granger Green Granger- All grangers gather in neat rows in back of the starting line. No granger may start on top of another granger. When a Leader hollers “Green Granger!”, the grangers must rush towards the end of a long hall. When the Leader hollers “Red Granger!”, all racers must stop moving, until the Leader once again calls Red Granger. Wall climbing is not allowed. Whichever granger reaches the end of the hall first wins. And Admin can optionally decrease movement speed before hand to prolong the event, or set a bind to put movement speed at 0 for Red Granger. Basic Grangers only.
- Sky diving- A target granger is at the bottom of the drop, and does not move. All Grangers must drop, in LOW gravity, and attempt to land near the target Granger. Grangers are permitted to kill each other mid fall. Who ever lands on top of the target Granger first wins. Either type of Granger is permitted.
VARIABLE GAMES: A Variable game has a single, simple goal, but the players have a lot of freedom in deciding how that goal is achieved.
- Hide-n-Tag- One granger must face a corner and count to 10, while the others hide. At the count of 10, the hiding grangers may no longer move once they reach a hiding spot. When the “It” granger finds another, he must claw them, and that granger becomes “It”. Then, the previous “It” must hide. A discovered granger may run. Advanced Grangers only.
- Where's Waldretch?- All grangers are gathered where they cannot see Waldretch. Waldretch must then run and hide somewhere in the arena. Once hidden, Waldretch may still move if seen, but only in spurts, like a fish swimming from a nearby threat. The first granger to strike Waldretch in any manner wins the round. If Waldretch somehow dies, he may respawn. Advanced Grangers only.

as we said before, people are more interested in making mods for full games, not mini-games. the granger games are the closest you are gonna get.

the granger games are NOT a mod. it requires a willing server (the COM/AOD server), admins, and people who cooperate.
