Title: Free and open source alternatives to these games?
Post by: NiTRoX on March 18, 2007, 03:48:22 pm
Lately I was searching for free or OS source alternatives to these games with few or no success. So this is why I came here ( even if I will get crictisced and blamed for not searching) to ask for your opinions.

games must be on Windows platform

So I want free or open source alternatives(or that are similair) to these games:

Fifa 2007
Final fantasy
Pokemon
Gran Turismu/Asphalt Urban GT/Driver 2 etc..
Championship Manager
Yu Gi Oh
Wing Over (a fighting air sim)
WorldWar II
Red Alert 2
Soul Reaver

or any other cool 3D adventure/action game.

Thanks in advance.

If you want anything, anything at all open source first go to sourceforge.com if not found there check freshmeat.net (has some propriety, but free stuff too), and if you really feel like being political savannah.nongnu.org. Those three resources are better than any forum. So can this be the last thread on the subject? Pretty please?

Anyways, pokemon and yu gi oh? You officially lose at life, unless you are ten years old, then it is alright.

Similiar Games To Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh, my god.
Pokemnon used to be half decent, but they r crap, soulless anomalies in the gaming industry.
Dont get me started with Yu-Gi-Oh.

FFS, the main character is a retarded schizophremic with weird hair. The rest of the game doesnt fare better.

You want a similiar game, ill give u one.

You and a similiar minded friend go to the nearest cliff for a race to the bottom, you line up and jump off at the same time to find out who hits the bottom first. Guess who wins...

                                            ...Society.
