I assume you mean a joystick? I've never tried (and never will) but I believe you'd simpily plug it in and find the setting to play with a joystick.

That at least explains why you are such a sucky player.

I want wiimote support!

Seriously, it's already bluetooth, drivers exist (opensource drivers no less, I can mouse around and stuff). Surely it's only a matter of time?

Yes, yes, you'll all say mouse control is more precise. You're probably right. But it's not as fun.

I'm sure it wont be long before someone get it going with quake3.
When they do you can use that.
Or make the drivers say its a joystick or whatever.

Yea, you can even use a Wiimote as a mouse, via bluetooth.

My friend uses it for powerpoint presentations via his macbook.

I HATE playing FPS with controllers.
Like XBOX FPS games. Where you have to "SPAM" your gun to "KILL" your enemies.
I tried Xbox CS and it sucked HORRIBLE
you can't aim carefully, because if you move slightly to the right, the screen goes WHOOSH and you look at the opposite side of you.

So, in Console FPS games, best way is to spray your gun and pray

I've always wanted to play with one of those touch screen monitors. That would be awesome to touch the screen and shoot. Oh gawd! *drools* I'm going to devise a plan to steal one out of my high school cafeteria. Or  my dad might have an extra one lying in his office, I'm sure he would like too see me try move my screen around with out shooting. :-/

I'm guessing that's linux though, I"m on a mac. The drivers may not quite be the same (I use http://sourceforge.net/projects/darwiin-remote/ )

Paradox: I can already do that, but it doesn't seem to work with Tremulous. The face buttons do, but the mouse doesn't cooperate.
