What do I do with the file after i download the map?
-
put them in your /tremulous/base folder and rename them from .zip to .pk3 (turn on "show hidden file extentions", just don't ask me how  )
-
the problem is i can't find that folder D:
-
you install it and /base thing automatically appears
try reinstalling
-
put the files in C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Tremulous\base
(Assuming you use windows. You seem to be so)

What if I use Linux?
-
If you use Linux and can not find the folder, you better get your ass back to windows.
One just does NOT install any programm w/o knowing what goes where!
-
It would be awesome if someone can tell me how to find the folder in LINUX.
-
It'd be awesome if you had the slightest clue where ANY user-specific configuration is stored on any UNIX.
-
Here's a hint: it's hidden.
And if you can't figure out where your config files are, you really should not be using linux. Either that or read some guides and learn how linux works.
-
geez guys at least give him the path. nice trolling here.
it's in ~/.tremulous
base folder should be under that.
-
Ok let me try it but i don't know if it would work..... :-?
-
