I go search for the folder using the search button, and find nothing when i search for shot000x and yet... i try and spam that, and all I get is no results... can someone tell me wtf is wrong with this?
Cuz it seems they dont get saved ANYWHERE...

Windows: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Tremulous\base\screenshots\
Linux: ~/.tremulous/base/screenshots/
Mac: ~/Library/Application\ Support/Tremulous/base/screenshots/

make sure you click the "search hidden folders option" if you wanna persist in doing it the search way. or do it like tin man
-
After a certain amount of screenies, they stop showing up in your c:/programfiles/tremulous/base/screenshots folder, so yeah, do it like tin.
-
ok i tried it, and it seems that it DOES NOT save the screenshot anywhere... just shows the message...

1. Click "My Computer"
2. Click "Local Disk (C: )"
3. Click "Program Files"
4. Look for "Tremulous"
5. Once yo have found, click it
6. Now look for you "base" folder
7. Now there should be a file that says "Screenshots"
8. Click again on that folder, and there you have your screenshots.
9. Once you taken a certain amount of screenshots a Base 2, Base 3, etc, will appear, and in the screenshot folder, thats where it will be.
And using the computer URL bar is really a useless way to find things, it is said it works better on Vista, I have yet to try it out.

I cant find that screenshots folder on my Mac

Mac: ~/Library/Application\ Support/Tremulous/base/screenshots/
If it's not there, create it. Some folders have to be created by the user for some weird reason or another.

To clarify: ~ means your home folder. So that path is actually
/Users/you/Library...
Also, Nagato's post is wrong in almost every particular. base2 and base3 are folders that some servers use to complicate your life unnecessarily because they enjoy your pain (well, not really, but advantages are thin on the ground and there are many obvious disadvantages). For example, up until recently, your demos/screenshots/settings for SST were stored in base2, but they seem to have moved back to base now. And the folder you gave is wrong, that's the installation folder. Screenshots are saved in your personal folder, next to your autogen.cfg, qkey, etc.
Evelsoa: did you find the folder TinMan gave? What was in it?

Yeah base 2 and base, and like 3 other mods, and i found screenshots to be in base 2, then somehow poofed and went to base 1, i dunno its weird... but seems to be in Base now
-
im glad this great mystery has been solved. i can finally get a good nights sleep. thank god.

Lol... you never cease to amaze me n00b pl0x

The problem is not the screenshot. The problem is you.

Where have you been installing your Tremulous? BTW I was right, he found it in the base folders. If you are a MAC user my instructions don't apply crap.
