Title: Server issues...
Post by: Baxter on April 03, 2007, 01:32:28 am
I have used the search button for this!
Now my server is set up fine but is not visible in the server list other than lan.
I also has [UDP] next to its name...
I dont have any firewalls and have no viruses or spy/adware on my computer.
It said on wikipedia that I would not need to port forward anything unless:
    * The computer is using a shared IP address
    * Internet Connection Sharing is enabled
    * A router is being used
I dont share my connection,I dont use a router and dont share my ip...
Please help!
 :(

Sometimes with Windows server 03, it doesnt like tremulous, and i cant figure out why. 2 identical machines, one runs sst, the other i tried at a lan party, and the other didnt work. While i dont have physical access to sst, i can compare specs. Its a wierd bug, and i dont know why it happens.

If you have a firewall, (which includes Windows XP's and Win2k3's), youll need to portforward. Make sure you dont have a firewall on. Some firewalls include Norton, Zone Alarm, and Panda (which if you have, i feel sorry for you)
