My ingame name is KobraKaine. I also have gone by -Matt-. I'm currently looking for a decent clan to join. The two servers I play on are "Planeta Moscow" and "Avalanche," however I play Avalanche more because there's less cheating there.
I prefer playing as the aliens, but I can play both sides. My favorite unit in the game is the advanced dragoon. After I get 4 evo points I donate all the extras to whoever needs them.
If I'm playing humans I usually take a support role, building and healing the base constantly.
Basically: I'm a team player.
My favorite maps are Transit and Tremor.
Any startup clans interested in a player with signifigant amounts of experience should contact me... I prefer small clan/communities to larger ones.

This is a sellers market, YOU have to do the begging, not the clans.
As you would know had you bothered to look at the forum before posting.

I haven't heard of either of your clans which means you either suck horribly, or you don't play on the servers I listed above.
-If the first: You should be begging people to join your clan, and not insulting them.

First off, we weren't advertising our clans, and you didn't say you wanted small clans when I posted. (Ninja edits not withstanding)
And you obviously no nothing about the clan system here.
Oh, and stop trying to insult my clan, it only makes you look stupid, mainly because I'm not in a clan.

How small? Idk really, I just don't want a really huge unweildy clan like you get on C&C Renegade and games like that.
As for playing big servers, I might try playing them sometime, but my internet isn't so good. I tend to prefer games with 16 or less total players just so my computer doesn't crash. :(
Just out of curiosity, how big are the Wrath servers?

David, you seem pretty vocal on this forum. I don't know if that makes you a good player or not, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Name the 3 best clan servers you can think of, and I'll try to get on at least two of them sometime this coming week.

Naaa no way, we have no clans that recruit at the moment afaik.
And if, I can't see him fitting in. I know of no clan that would tolerate base camping, no matter if you call it 'support & repair'
Then there is the issue of him mouthing ppl, of who he has absolutely no knowledge, does not know if they could have been his future clan-mate...
Btw... did you guys ever wonder where the expression "stuck up" comes from? David was right on mark with his stick .)

There's a definite difference between camping and using your brain. Campers hide behind turrets with rifles... builders expand a base outward, repair structures in sudden death, and use their blasters (I've rarely if ever seen anyone [builder] other than me use a blaster to defend themselves...
That's what makes Tremulous such a unique game. You have the ability to build your base however and wherever you want to. Anyone can be a killwhore, but not everyone can be an effective builder.

blaster combat is a no-no... All it takes to be an efficient builder is to copy paste a few designs and uhm most good builders don't "expand a base outwards"
btw good luck with the clan search, you might have more luck contacting clanleaders ingame though.
oh and for the record planeta moscow is a noob server... The only "cheaters" there are good player being falsely accused of cheating:roll:

Take a look at some of the clans that posted in the clan section, ask around.
{MMD} has openings.
Zirra (the Zilla extention clan) has openings.

Not too interested in joining Zilla (or zirra) tho... They seem a tad too controversial for my taste. I do like Smokey's style, however. Flame first, ask questions later.
*Edit: That, and for whatever reason my computer laggs horribly on their server. I keep pingin' 999.

Janev pulls in a whopping 10.2 kills per minute if you're talking about good in the game, if you're talking about good on the forum, I'm not one to say. Janev hasn't been too active before know a.f.a.i.k. so I really dont know him (her?).

Haha, yeah, the thought HAD crossed my mind. But, I'm just here to play the game... I don't want to create a clan forum, manage practice times and argue with Smokey and Co. about who has the better clan. It would be a lot easier for me to join someone elses.

I guess I missed my chance to ward off name confusions, Kaine. And just to make it clear to everyone reading this, Kaine /=me. Kaine is a cooler name anyway. When he snipes you, it rhymes with PAIN.
