Title: hives cant chase you past there base

I try not to camp i like attacking that is the fun of tremulous.  so on s3 i will attack with a battle sute and lusi. i run in kill one hive i am low on helth run out and still am getting chased.  i run into my base into a medi and die.  why because the hives chaed me way to far.

they shouldn't be able to chase you more then 10 ft and  if you kill them they should stop chasing you and die.  it should be more like macheen turets they shoot at you and you run away you are safe and if you kill the turet it doen't shoot at you anymore.  maby the medi kit gets the hives of you or you can by bug repelent.

What map are you playing where hives chase you to your base?

Try sprinting, it's 'x' by default.

Remember hives are made up of insects, they can go very far...but its weird that it chased you that far.  Are you sure there were not dretches chasing you?

a hive can chase you as long as it keeps line of sight, you can scrape them off by gettting a wall or corner between you and them so they lose you.

i had one chase me form A default to H top on arachind once.

the map was atcs and they had built hives out side are base

What if all the bees have heart syncronizer and the hive sends radio signals to controll them ^^

Or you can just run in a circle (run, not sprint), and hive will never hit you.
