Yes you can boost your gamma, but that wont do a thing on maps like Ancient Remains. Yes you can enable lightmap, but same problem. Ever heard of r_fullbright? That lil command will normalize all textures, so they all appear at the full brightness. It requires a vid_restart.
I hope this prevents people from always bitching "OMG ITS TOO DARK HERE!"

Iagree. The maps are the only big problem in tremulous they are dark and are hard to navigate.

There is a reason that Tremulous is dark. It's called the fact that it's based off Gloom, which was dark.
Dark is good, get better gamma or take a flashlight and a change of underpants.

Just to make a little complaint a big suggestion. What if humans had flashlight and buyable night vision. Aliens would have a sort of IR appearance meshed into their normal vision. If the flashlight is shined at an alien it would be a little blinded. Possible, Feasible, Like it???

I like it, but it has been suggested before. People just blame the mappers and tell them to make their maps brigher. Nightvision in the helmit or a flashlight would make maps so much better because they could be darker and creepier without the risk of having people not be able to see.
