I am new to this game, and I have noticed that there are some servers that I can't play on because they load maps I don't have the files for. Where can I get new maps?

Also, are there any other mods you particularly like?

you can get almost all maps that exist at http://mercenariesguild.net/base/ (get the map pack if you have a nice connection), you could also enable automatic downloads to download directly from the server, but it's pretty slow in the default client (~3kB/s), so you should get tjw's backport client that supports http downloads at http://tjw.org/backport (that link is dead right now though, tjw's host is being dumb)

i like the tremX mod

u have adv dretches that can pounce, adv tyrant that can spit acid, and basilisks can also shoot barbs  8)
