Textures fixed, cannon looks better, better lighting, but still fugly.
Note to anyone else trying to figure out mapping on an intel mac: move your textures over to tremulous/basq3 before compiling. For some reason i can't figure out q3map2 looks there for textures. Go figure.

it says cant find pushcannon.bsp

i figured it out. the .ds_store hidden files from my mac were fucking it up. I packed it on my pc and it works fine now... but i found a bug so i'm going to fix that then re upload it for you guys. until then don't bother downloading that file om megaupload it won't work :P

it is a weird map with some funny cannon, no need to mention the textures and lighting
heh fun I tried to get my bot inside the cannon and failed badly :D

its a demo.
save it to base/demos
then open trem and do /demo <whatever it is named>

Nice suicide building. By better textures to you mean a) simply something other than default atcs textures, or b) something that can help you distinguish between the human and alien sides? or c all of the above?

I mean something that doesn't look so terrible as the only texture in such a huge room. If it were just a plain color it wouldn't be so bad.

why would this be in 1.2? Lol. its just MG crate with 2 rooms on both sides and a cannon in the middle.

it's a small map, the point being there's not much anywhere to hide.
i'm working on retuxturing it right now. I was playing around with patch meshes in the alien side, but gave up on that because of god damn sparklies.

Can you make the cannon more powerful so a human goes really close to the ceiling? I spent a while putting a ton of acid tubes on the ceiling only to discover that you can't go high enough for them to be effective :O
