Drop it in base, try it out on an unpure server or on your own. Currently changes only extend to the painsaw, lcannon, and prifle, but I'm open to suggestions.

So I'm thinking of having acid tubes eject flowers. What do you guys think? What can I do with the flamer? I'm really looking to expand this, and perhaps making a few more texture sets (although not along the same lines).

I think that te luci should shoot teddy bears, and the longer you charge it the bigger the teddy bear you shoot. Of course it would have to be pink or something. Oh and if you overcharge it it would show a teddy bear exploding in fluff. Just a random stupid idea...

It's not that bad an idea, except that it's a 2d graphic and looks the same from all angles, so what you're suggesting is probably impossible.
player1 - actually, that gives me an idea... watch this space.
evlesoa - most of those weapons don't have projectiles, but I'll see if I can hack shotgun spread to always draw a smiley face...

although evlesoa's idea of adding projectile graphics to hitscan weapons is silly, i must agree that a gummi bunny should be added somewhere.

Heh, it's not that exciting, and it's getting late now so I'll just post it as a reminder to do it soonish.
In essence, my plan is to replace all the flamer graphics with big, red, letter As. I think it might be quite an interesting effect.

edit: n00b pl0x, you drop it in base and go to a server with sv_pure off. I think SST will do the trick, or else you can try setting up a local listen server with /devmap atcs in the console.

no, some weapons release a particle at the point of impact (md, las, luci, etc)

Woot! I've just been looking through the particle system documentation, and instead of specifying a shader keyword for the particle, you can specify a model =).

Nice one. I'll look into that soonish, but I still don't have a suitable model. If I do get it working, I'll probably make acid tubes eject hundreds of little dretches, or something... that won't massive lag at all.

Pfft. Way too serious.
You can just get his pk3, name it alphabetically after lovely.pk3, and use it like that. It might look a bit odd, though, because I disabled rotation on flamer graphics to make my letters all the right way up. That's in models/scripts/flamer.particle or something, I forget exactly which script it is.
I'll do it maybe when I have a free moment, that's not right now (well, a longer free moment).

I'm trying to create an Highres mod for the "creep" of Tremulous, but I have an error when the game load the TGA.

Edit : The error is : "LoadTGA: Only type 2 (RGB), 3 (gray), and 10 (RGB) TGA images supported."

What is your method, please ?
