Yeah, I'm a mac user, so instead of teamspeak, I have to use this thing called "teamspeex", and I dont know how to get it to work on tremulous.
Anyone got a fix for this?
-
You can t get it to work on trem ?
It doesnt have to work on trem. Cant you just have it turned on and go into trem and the voice activation allows you to use it ?
-
no, when I open teamspeex, it opens up a box that tells me to input a server address, nickname for the server address, and server password if it has one. Even when I put the server address into the server bar, it will load for a while then say "sorry, this server does not support teamspeex, or it is deactivated". And leaving it open and running trem at the same time didnt do crap either, as I can neither hear nor speak to anyone, even though my imac has functional speakers and a built in microphone.

...what server are you trying to connect to?
-
Trem servers aren't teamspeek servers, you need to find a teamspeak server and port to connect to. TeamSpeak is separate from trem.

Sorry, I'm not the most computer literate person... how would I go about doing this?

Go about doing what?
I'm suspecting you're trying to connect to a trem server now. Teamspeak works with teamspeak servers. You are trying to connect teamspeak to a game server. You need one of each to get it working. Most trem servers do not run a teamspeak server.
Beergarden runs a treamspeak server:

But noone ever connects to it.
Unless you have several people who want to use teamspeak with you you're probably just going to have to use your keyboard.

I dont think that many people connect to any trem related server, so theres no point anyhow.
