...although it looks very much like that bit on niveus. It's obviously not the same, but the layout and architecture have obvious similarities. The door on the left goes to the stairwell.
That looks like the Quake Mod Tremulous before it's standalone days?
Oh, a Turret, that's Niveus! That's the Lamer Spot off the stairs. That's Tremulous before standalone afaik.
On the HUD note, that's a pretty hawt hud. There was a pretty attractive model for the marine there too. Personally, although I've only seen screenies, the original before standalone Tremulous looks a lot more Tremulous. Darker textures, wicked marine model. Made it look like aliens actually had infested space stations and such. We should petition to bring back ye olde Tremulous!

Totally.
Uh, Bank?
The hud seems to be from an old version that I never used however...
The guys from that site repacked Tremulous in a .zip file, added one stupid file that launches the main executable and called it "PortableTremulous"... I can say they lost their time, as Tremulous is already a portable program that doesn't use the Windows Registry...
Well, at least they are spreading Trem :P
I've never tried old Trem... Now I'm tempted.
I don't think that site has it called "Portable" because of any detachment from the windows registry, my guess (without touching the files) is that it doesn't use the user specific bases that the ioquake3 engine has implemented, instead it would keep all files in the main Program Files/Tremulous/base folder...or it could be compiled for some mobile version of windows? CE?!?!?!? Dunno. lawl

they set fs_homepath to something on the current drive, you can't safely set fs_homepath to fs_basepath as warrior suggested though.
Quoteas warrior suggested
Actually I don't suggested it... I simply forgot that a portable program should not use the user folders (i.e. the "Documents and Settings" folder on Windows systems) as pointed TinMan. Furthermore, the stock Trem 1.1.0 uses fs_homepath = fs_basepath and consequently it doesn't stores anything on user's personal folders letting me think that "portable" thing is only a repack of 1.1.0.

and it also breaks royally if you try to use cl_guid or host a server with a custom game.qvm.
Someone try and recreate the map, plz? I love that!
