How do you create message binds?
-
Apparently the manual (http://tremulous.net/manual/#x1-120003.1) doesn't say. This (http://mercenariesguild.net/index.php?option=com_openwiki&Itemid=46&id=binds), however, does.

/bind 1 say "^5Camp For Your LIVES!!!"
**pressing 1**
:human: - Camp For Your LIVES!!!
-
bind w say "^1HOW DO YOU MAKE BINDS!!"
That should solve your solution rather quickly.

What if you use the arrow keys, like I do? :P

then nothing can help you :D

Both Wikis laid it out pretty well. The other Wiki section on binds would be here-
http://www.tremwiki.com/getting_started
Not sure why people don't read them, but I suppose that is where the universal mantra of RTFM comes from.
-
Actually, in this case TFM didn't help. RTFW(iki) is more apporpriate.
-
Weird how the manual has nearly everything but chat-related stuff.
And here I was about to flame the hell out of you for not checking the manual.
-
The manual also lacks Light Armor (larmor), Battlesuits (bsuit), Helmets (helmet (self-explanitory)), and Batterypacks (bpack (I think)).
-
That's why the second topic in this forum is titled "What is missing from the Manual" and the first topic (currently) "Introductory Guide" says go to Tremwiki as it is more up to date and covers many of the things the manual is missing. From what I can tell, everything that is in the missing thread is in Tremwiki (http://www.tremwiki.com).
-
I always refer pple to this thread
http://tremulous.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1240
It's fairly comprehensive
