This, (like the front page link) goes to source forge.
Will the trem devs get 100% of what I donate?
Or does SF take a cut?
And for that matter, does paypal take a cut...
-
PayPal always takes a cut, that is their business. I don't know about SourceForge though.
-
If I recall correctly, Paypal only takes a cut (10%, I think) for company accounts, but if you get too much money in a month they make you upgrade to one.
What's done with donations through Sourceforge is configurable. I don't think they take any of the money (they just encourage you to donate it).
(3x to edit before I got it right.)

What fees will be deducted from my donation?
The SourceForge.net Donation System is conducted as per the SourceForge.net Terms of Service agreement; all users of the SourceForge.net site and this donation service must agree to the provided Terms of Service Agreement, including the specific details related to the Donation System.
Fees are assessed from each donation by PayPal (varying based on the specific nature of the donation, and any currency conversion that must occur) and by SourceForge.net. On 2003-12-01, SourceForge.net deducted 5% + PayPal fees from each donation, with a $1 minimum. These fees help support the free-of-charge services provided to Tremulous (tremulous) by SourceForge.net.

Quickly, all donate 5x 0.99 dollars!
Nah, j/k :) .
-
I think they mean they will take at least $1. so give .99 and the trem devs get nothing.
Do the trem devs have a paypal where it all goes to them?
Or do you want us to use this?
-
Or perhapse Lava is just scamming money off you :x
-
Its the same link as the front page, as already stated.
-
stop bitching and donate

Do the trem devs have a paypal where it all goes to them?
Yes. The 'Paypal' comes in the form of a hand which can take an amount of money- approximately equalling 1 'handful' -out of your wallet and into the dev's larger wallet. You can then proceed to add a moth (http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Wallet_moth) to your wallet for effect.
The downside to this alternative is that there's a chance you're living too far away from the nearest dev to walk. This might mean giving money to taxi, bus, train, and aeroplane services to get there. Compared to the small amount paypal is asking, this 'cut' is likely to be far larger.

a bank-transaction would be an alternative, if the devs announced their bank-connections
a online-transaction(eg. online-banking) would cost NO fees, at least thats how it is handled at the bank i have a account
