Title: Dont install google gears

If you enjoy your speedy system, dont install google gears.

I have about 4gb of ram in my system and 3 dual core chips, and before i installed google gears, average warmup time was under a minute. With google gears, it sometimes took 3 minutes for the computer interface to load, then an additional 2-4 for firefox to boot.

DONT INSTALL IT IF YOU ENJOY FAST COMPUTING.

Aha thank you paradox! (This is serious not sarcasm.) I have a pretty good computer, but it has a really slow load time when I turn it on. I have installed some google stuf... Hmmm. I should probably delte it cuz I don't really need it. If this works I'll give you a big cyber cookie!  :D   :roll:

Wow.
I didn't know it did that much system integration.

I guess I'll wait for them to fix it before trying that google reader off-line version thing.

4 gigs of ram and 3 dual core chips!? is your computer a server? i have an old server i was gonna use as a desktop but i cant be bothered to clean the dust out of it and install windows on it (its running a text-based UNIX os)
