Hello All, This topic is regarding the clan NEX.

Were about 3 weeks old and are based in Australia, sticking mainly to GA servers.

afaik, it wasn't a clan, just a tag to represent being a Nexuiz player.

NEX has NOTHING to do with Nexuiz and Nexus, Its is the Latin word for Death ;-)

No no, you don't understand. There are peole who have been using the [NEX] tag for over a year now. For THEM it just represents being a Nexuiz player.

Hey, I was just directed to this post. I had no idea anyone else was using the name. Anyway, just for the record, the people I know of who have used Nex in the past are:

[Nex]Tremma - first used it around the time we started, when standalone came out
[Nex]Phreak - switched to CU, not seen in ages
[Nex]Dave - almost never seen in trem to begin with

and of course, myself, [Nex]Workaphobia

A few others have put it on once in a while, including CU|Dyin who started recently.

Anyway, given that it took this long for me to hear of it I don't think there's any name clash issue. Now I'll have a different answer for when people ask me whether [Nex] is a clan. :)


[EDIT] In *LITERALLY* under a second after clicking submit, I clicked over to the tab of your homepage advising us all of your clan's death and its board's imminent destruction. Ay. Well, back to my old answer to the question.
