Title: What faction do you usually play as?

Post by: xyblor on June 16, 2007, 04:48:42 am: I prefer humans because you can attack constantly. Aliens often have to wait for humans to come out of their base, or else wait for them to walk into your ambush.

I also find victory as human more gratifying, since it means you beat the odds.

1: I have no mouse, just a trackpad.

2: I find it satisfying to be a dretch, wallwalking like crazy and dodging a bunch of bullets.

NOD, Nazis, Interpol, MECs, or GRU.

But if I cant make it to them, them I go for Humans.
You simply cant beat teh painsaw and shotgun.

and humans, because they are significantly more pwn.
On the whole, humans are used to dying - dragoon headshots left right and centre give them a generally poor lifespan. When they do retire to their early grave it's generally with a sigh of "oh no not again".
When, on the other hand, an alien goes from 200 hp to 0 because I just emptied a rifle clip and a half into him, he's much more likely to be all, "wtf mate :(" and I'll be like "lololol". Much more rewarding.

C'mon, Anger...You know you love jumping into campers' bases and killing them all and listening to the dumbasses tell them to stop feeding from in their base.

I like playing both teams. I'd have to say I'm equally skilled with each teams. Although I really get pissed when I'm playing humans, spending literally no camping time in the base, and aliens whine that all the humans are camping.

Usually humans have more players, but aliens have more GOOD players. I feel bad for the humans, so I try to play them a bit more often than aliens. Although...lately...I've been slipping.

It's very tempting to go alien because at all stages of the game you can solo successfully. Human means that you're going to have to rely on your teammates during late stage one and stage 3. I think this is a big factor in making most of the good players choose alien - they don't want to be let down by a camping or inept team.

and than i started to love them. Walking on the walls, jumping, slashing freaking around. And more: aliens can build on walls, ceiling. Have hives, trapers and hovel(oh yeah!!!).

Killing using matrix style gives lot of satisfaction... and im not going to hide fact that im not as good human as alien. Its just humans are boring to me.
(ok if i want to play a sniper i go to human team :P -im no sniper really)

Besides, I've played humans in every other mmofps i have ever played they're just too generic. But using the grenade is fun
