Title: OpenGL Problems in Ubuntu
Post by: Death On Ice on June 26, 2007, 05:05:39 pm
Well, I decided to take the plunge (again) and install Fiesty over my Ubuntu Edgy installation. This is on my Intel iMac, which has a ATI Radeon X1600 Graphics Card.

My Problem is that when I run Tremulous in Ubuntu (From Applications/Games in the menu bar) I get a weird dark flash across my screen for a second, then nothing. When I tried running from Terminal, I got the (Evil) OpenGL Subsystem Error, the kind you get when your graphics card doesn't have drivers.

What's weird is that I had the drivers on my previous installation. They just installed by themselves, and I got a little pop-up with a message along the lines of "Hardware Acceleration Enabled" or something. I don't know how to do this again, and all the updates are installed.

Please help  Me
