I am sick of people asking how to get a GUID. So i am going tell you. step by step:
1. Go to http://tremulous.tjw.org/backport/win32/
2. Download tremulous.exe
3. put it in your tremulous folder. This will mean overwrite the other tremulous.exe.
your done
benefits of a GUID
1.You can be given admin on any server (dont beg, you wont get)
2. Any maps you auto download will be saved to it.
This means that if your tremulous breaks just download it again and you will have all the things you had before.
p.s. if the admins like the advice they might wont to sticky it

Anyone who reads this already knows.
The nubs who ask are the same nubs who are too thick to look here.
But thanks anyway, it should help the smart one who look here.

really, though, tremulous.net should have links to the backport and svn repository on the files page, but it does not. then noobs wouldn't have to ask where to find a client with GUID ever. They would already have it.
better yet, the devs should update the installer packages to include svn and backport clients as default.
same with the mac client, it is not listed in the files section either.
get yo shit together. trem's been out for over a year.
