How do you install mods for Tremulous?

I swear, I remember a topic with this exact name a few pages back.

Enable auto download.
Get a recent client, and enable www-download.
Play on a server with a mod.

-OR-
Download all the files off the web site of the mod, and stick them where the mod says.  Ignore the server bits though.
