Title: What is the l33t status good for anyway?

The user l33t status and the user post count are somehow like ranks. They may have expected effects, but are they really good for anything?

I don't know about you guys.. but when i got uber-l33t i got laser vision and suddenly became super good at tremulous.

@OP: post-count status is a feature of many website, especially gamer forums; they have little or no real meaning, other than to give those with lower post counts a feeling of inferiority (if they are that easily humbled), and incentive to spam more
