The devs should contact Xfire and get Tremulous supported. I made custom code for it awhile ago but unless the devs actually contact xfire at newgames@xfire.com it will never be officially supported.

i already mentioned it on the forum

got a few supporters but thats it

Xfire doesnt support linux or mac because they are still working on the windows version.I'm pretty sure theres a plugin that someone made so you can run xfire on linux but i forget where.

hm .. too much messing arround with external apps .. i think the linux version espacialy will take some time to mature ..

what about integrated voice-communication in tremulous? Codecs and needed components should be available under gpl :) ..

but i spose xfire will do lol

i just use my own ventrillo server that i host secretly on my sisters computer MWHAHAHHHAHHAHA

There is an X-Fire plugin for gaim, never got it to work, though. It does not support the "join game" function either... that one is all the reason X-Fire is worth something... ;)
